SBB Streamers vs Devs - Gaming for Josh Charity Event

Storybook Brawl Devs take on Streamers to benefit WCK Foundation!

What is it?

The Storybook Brawl Streamers vs. Devs stream is a showcase event benefiting Gaming for Josh.

Gaming for Josh & West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation

The people at West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation (WCK) support the kids with cancer and their family during these times. One of these programs is Gaming for Josh. Each year, this event takes place on the Giant Weekend of Gaming for Josh when gamers stream, play, and raise funds for WCK Connection programs.

All proceeds from Gaming for Josh activities go towards WCK programming that helps kids with cancer/blood disorders and their siblings stay connected, such as the WCK Hangouts program, which creates virtual connections for children and youth across B.C.

A Word from our Event Organizers

Gaming can be an outlet. It can be an escape from reality. It can give a sense of relief or a feeling of ease. It can even be therapeutic. And while playing games can’t repair physical conditions, gaming can offer mental healing to those suffering.

Children navigating through childhood cancer experience some of the most burdensome physical and mental pain, and that struggle extends easily to their friends and family. Though these children cannot be physically healed by gaming, you can help them and their families by picking up a game.
